Fox News Channel ended 2025 on a strong note, earning its highest ratings in a year without a major election.
The news network averaged 2,652,000 viewers during the prime-time hours of 8 p.m. to 11 p.m., and 1,691,000 viewers throughout the full day, outperforming rival networks CNN and MSNBC. The network’s viewership is also up from 2024, with 11% growth for prime-time and 16% growth for total daytime.
Fox News also netted its best year on YouTube, with a 57% increase from 2024 of 4.3 billion views on the platform.
“Delivering another record-breaking year, outpacing broadcast networks, and reaching new highs on YouTube is a testament to the strength of our brand and our ability to meet the audience where they are. I am incredibly proud of our unrivaled team on and off camera, whose journalism, global newsgathering skills and powerful voices continue to set the standard in news and connect with Americans nationwide,” Fox News Media CEO Suzanne Scott said in a press release.

Fox News’s most popular show is Gutfeld!, which has continued to perform well against its fellow late-night competitors. The show received 3.1 million viewers, 358,000 within the 25 to 54-year-old demographic.
The network notched third place in weekday prime-time viewership, averaging 3,118,000 viewers. ABC News received 3,461,000 viewers, while CBS News got 3,216,000.
