Local officials in Washington are holding a press conference on Wednesday afternoon after a midday shooting left two National Guard members critically injured.
The press conference is scheduled to begin around 5 p.m. An update will be provided then.
TWO NATIONAL GUARD TROOPS SHOT OUTSIDE OF FARRAGUT WEST METRO STATION IN DC
Due to conflicting reports, the status of the two National Guard troops remains unknown.
Shots were fired around the Farragut West Metro station near the White House around 2 p.m. The shooting comes right before Thanksgiving.
