President Donald Trump will speak alongside franchise owners at the McDonald’s Impact Summit in Washington, D.C., at 6 p.m. on Monday about value and affordability.
Value and affordability will be the central themes because they are “so important to consumers and elected officials [that] our franchisees and company are co-investing to bring extra value and affordability to our customers,” a McDonald’s official said.

Trump will also speak on matters enacted by the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, such as no tax on tips, Social Security claims, and overtime pay.
The president’s remarks will be followed by other speakers, including Govs. Kathy Hochul (D-NY) and Wes Moore (D-MD).
