House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) is holding a press conference at 10 a.m. Tuesday as he has done for almost every day of the government shutdown since the start of October.
The shutdown is now on its 28th day. The longest shutdown lasted 35 days during President Donald Trump’s first term.
