Washington Examiner Senior Writer Joe Concha blasted former Vice President Kamala Harris for delivering another “word salad” while on her book tour.
Harris appeared on MSNBC’s The Rachel Maddow Show on Monday, the eve of the release of her book, 107 Days. Concha noted that she continued to offer long-winded responses to every question host Rachel Maddow asked.
“I guess we got our 2024 daily diet of Thousand Island word salad again. ‘Kamala Harris: The Human Chernobyl’ — that would be my headline. Because you take her out of a teleprompter and script her remarks, and this is what we get,” Concha said on Fox News’s Fox & Friends Tuesday.
Fox & Friends host Todd Piro asked, “I want to go big picture on what Kamala Harris said in that interview, does any of it, one word, come off as someone presidential who can make life-and-death decisions as the commander in chief, as the leader of the free world?”
“It comes across, Todd, to answer to your question, as whiny. It comes across as somebody who is pointing fingers at everybody but herself,” Concha said.
“She didn’t do one interview after she became the nominee in late July for six weeks, not even with a pandering host like Rachel Maddow, not even The View, not Colbert or Kimmel,” Concha said. “She decided not to go to the Al Smith dinner. She decided not to go on Joe Rogan when Donald Trump and JD Vance did.”
Harris wrote 107 Days about her brief presidential campaign following Biden’s withdrawal from the race. In the book, Harris expressed regret that Biden did not leave the race sooner.
THE MANY REASONS KAMALA HARRIS IS NEVER RUNNING FOR PUBLIC OFFICE AGAIN
“The stakes were simply too high. This wasn’t a choice that should have been left to an individual’s ego, an individual’s ambition,” Harris writes of Biden.
Her campaign did not win over any swing states in 2024 despite a war chest of over $1 billion.
Concha also said on Fox News’s Hannity that Harris will likely go to “extremely friendly places” to promote her book. He said he would bet “good money” that she’ll deem Trump a “threat to democracy” and call him a “fascist.”
“It’s going to be predictable, it’s going to be boring, I mean, she blames everybody but herself,” Concha said.
Harris is starting her book tour by appearing on The View on Tuesday. Harris made a guest appearance on the show last year, four weeks before the election, and said, “There is not a thing that comes to mind” when asked if she would have done anything differently under her and Biden’s leadership.
