Minneapolis city and law enforcement officials will provide an update on Wednesday’s shooting at a Catholic school and church, where at least two children died and another 17 people were injured.
The now-deceased gunman, identified by multiple news outlets as Robin Westman, opened fire at Annunciation Catholic Church in Minneapolis while students gathered for an all-school Mass on Wednesday morning. The shooting coincided with the first week of school.

The two children killed were ages 8 and 10. Among the 17 injured, 14 were children, two of whom were in critical condition.
The press conference is expected to start at 2:30 p.m. local time on Wednesday. Mayor Jacob Frey delivered a press conference earlier in the day.
