President Donald Trump slammed MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace and her “bad ratings,” predicting her network could cut ties with her “soon.”
Wallace, the host of MSNBC’s Deadline: White House, criticized Trump’s meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday, saying it showed that Trump was “not in control of anything.” She also said Putin was “the alpha all day long,” and greatly criticized how Trump gave Putin a red carpet treatment for the meeting.
“She is a loser, with bad ratings, who was already thrown off of The View. She will be fired soon! MSNBC IS DEAD!” Trump wrote on Truth Social Sunday.
Trump’s declaration against MSNBC was followed by the network announcing a rebrand on Monday. The network will be titled MS NOW, an acronym for “My Source News Opinion World,” later this year.
TRUMP SAYS DC IS ‘GETTING BETTER’ WHILE DECRYING ‘FAKE’ CRIME NUMBERS
Trump is no stranger to celebrating his media critics getting ousted from networks.
In late February, the president took a victory lap over ex-MSNBC host Joy Reid’s show The ReidOut getting canceled, calling her an “obnoxious racist.”
Trump also celebrated late-night host Stephen Colbert, another frequent critic of the president, getting his show axed last month. He predicted other comedians like Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon would also have the plugs pulled on their respective shows.
