Wrestling icon Hulk Hogan died Thursday at age 71.

Born Terry Gene Bollea, the wrestler’s death comes just over a year after he went viral at the 2024 Republican National Convention when he gave President Donald Trump a ripping endorsement. Following the election, Hogan said on Instagram “we’re all real Americans,” and encouraged people to “focus on what unites us.”

Hogan also posted a photo of him arm-wrestling Trump on Oct. 27.

TMZ reported that medics were dispatched to Hogan’s Clearwater, Florida, home early Thursday morning regarding a “cardiac arrest,” according to operators.

In his post-wrestling career, Hogan promoted his beer brand, Real American Beer, which he started to “bring the country back together one beer at a time.”

“R.I.P to a legend,” Donald Trump Jr. said on X.
