The White House event is scheduled to start at 3 p.m. as the ministers are set to sign the peace deal arranged by Trump that he promised would bring an end to decades of “violent bloodshed and death” between the African nations.
Supporters of the president have said he should receive the Nobel Peace Prize for his work to mediate an end to that conflict, as well as his efforts to broker peace deals between Israel and Iran, and India and Pakistan.
