Washington Examiner senior writer Joe Concha said Friday that Democrats want “toxic” former President Joe Biden out of the spotlight after he took shots at President Donald Trump at a Texas Juneteenth event.
“He is toxic. He is unpopular,” Concha told Fox & Friends First. “Democrats will even tell you they do not want him in the spotlight because it is a constant reminder of the failure that was his presidency.”
“And, more importantly, it was a reminder that almost every Democrat and the media covered up the fact that his brain turned to mashed potatoes years ago, and yet, he was the commander in chief for four years.”

Biden took the stage at Reedy Chapel-AME Church in Galveston and told the audience that he signed the Juneteenth Independence Day Act, enshrining the holiday, to prevent the erasure of American history.
“This guy,” the 44th president alluded to Trump before making the sign of the cross.
“I played a role in changing the names of all the military camps that have slave names,” he said. “What are we doing now? Restating those names. Folks, the darkness can hide much but erase nothing.”
The Lord is not done with the United States, and there is more work to be done, according to Biden.
“Let’s remember who we are,” Biden said. “We’re the United States of America. You’ve heard me say it many times. There’s nothing — nothing — beyond our capacity when we act together.”
Democrats want Biden to go away, but he will not stop as long as he is “paid to [appear],” Concha said.

“I guess Jill Biden, Dr. Jill Biden, will continue to push him being in public,” he said.
“The fact that nearly 70% of people think that they were not honest about his cognitive decline in office is just so telling as far as what the Democratic Party did and how this will haunt them for years to come.”
