Ronny Jackson says Biden’s doctor would ‘cover up anything’

.

Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-TX) asserted that former President Joe Biden’s doctor likely played a role in the cover-up of Biden’s cognitive decline, citing how the doctor was “part of the Biden family.”

Jackson explained that Biden’s physician, Dr. Kevin O’Connor, served as Biden’s doctor for eight years when he was vice president under former President Barack Obama, and was later recruited again once Biden entered the Oval Office in 2021. Because of how “beloved” he was by the offices of Biden and his wife, former first lady Jill Biden, Jackson said he “truly” believes that O’Connor would “say or do anything” asked by the Biden family.

“And I think they purposefully brought him back because they knew that they had somebody that could help cover up anything that might come up,” Jackson claimed on Fox News’s Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo. “And I think, probably, when he was running back in 2019, they already knew that he was having cognitive issues, and I think they were probably already behind the scenes assessing that and addressing that, and they realized that Kevin O’Connor would be somebody that could keep that a secret.”

Jackson, who is a former White House physician himself, proceeded to compare Biden’s cognitive decline to that of former President Woodrow Wilson, who suffered a stroke during his presidency in 1919. Jackson cited how Wilson’s physician and wife, former first lady Edith Wilson, kept this “hidden” from the press, and proceeded to make decisions for the country.

Last month, it was revealed that Biden has prostate cancer, to which Jackson found it “unbelievable” how this cancer was only recently discovered. He then speculated how the news of Biden’s cancer became public just before a new book delving into the former president’s cognitive decline was released, and the news of Biden’s cancer was a bid to create “sympathy” for Biden.

BILL CLINTON DEFENDS JOE BIDEN’S COGNITIVE ACUITY: ‘I THOUGHT HE WAS IN GOOD SHAPE’

The House Oversight Committee is investigating Biden’s decline during his presidency, sending letters to O’Connor and other aides to the former president for interviews. On Sunday, the committee’s chairman, Rep. James Comer (R-KY), suggested that Biden’s executive orders could be “thrown out in court” if the president’s autopen had been used to sign them.

Biden has defended his record as president as well as his initial decision to seek reelection in 2024. He also stated that he is expecting to beat his cancer, citing how “my bones are strong.”
