Jason Miller says Republicans need to get ‘aggressive’ after Wisconsin Supreme Court defeat

.

President Donald Trump‘s former senior campaign adviser Jason Miller said Wednesday that Republicans need to get “aggressive” following the Democrat-backed victory in Wisconsin‘s Supreme Court special election.

Republicans have to make clear the consequences of electing Democrats if they want to get back on track after Tuesday’s results, Miller told Laura Ingraham of Fox News.

“We have to go and start reminding people that the Democrats in the House are pushing for the largest tax increase in history,” he said. “President Trump has a plan to fix the economy from what Biden did to tank it, including the tax cuts and a whole bunch of other things, but we have got get aggressive here.”

Democrat-supported Dane County Judge Susan Crawford defeated Wisconsin Attorney General and Waukesha County Judge Brad Schimel because of candidate quality and upcoming cases related to abortion, according to Miller.

“You gotta remember, candidates do matter. In this case, we did not have a particularly good one,” he said. “Democrats also had a ton of out-of-state money to that came in.”

“President Trump was not on the ballot, but abortion was when it came to Wisconsin.”

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) argued Wednesday that Republicans are going to distance themselves from the Department of Government Efficiency following the Wisconsin results, but Miller defended the importance of the cuts made by DOGE and the impact they will have on voters.

“We have to be smart with how we do it,” according to Miller. “We can use things such as AI supply chain optimization, streamlining services, to make tens if not hundreds of billions of dollars of reduction.”

“You bring down the spending, that’s how you make things more affordable, and that’s what I think President Trump and Elon Musk and the leaders in the House are gonna do here.”
