President Donald Trump escalated his rhetoric against the liberal candidate of the high-stakes Wisconsin Supreme Court race as the election is set for Tuesday of this week.
In a Truth Social post on Sunday, Trump called Susan Crawford, who is running against conservative candidate Brad Schimel, a “DISASTER” who is “so Far Left that even her own Party, the Radical Democrats, don’t want ANYTHING to do with her.”
He also slammed Crawford as a “Liberal Lunatic who will throw our Country, and the State of Wisconsin, into TOTAL CHAOS.”
Trump concluded his post by urging Wisconsin voters to cast their ballot for Schimel, who he said represents the values of the Badger State and is “Conservative, Strong and, above all, SANE.”

The Wisconsin Supreme Court election is set for April 1. If Schimel wins, it would flip the court’s current 4-3 majority. Consequently, money has poured into the race, with Elon Musk’s super PAC and other groups spending $20 million to help elect Schimel.
Musk was also in the state on Sunday night at a rally, where he gave away two $1 million checks to voters who signed a petition that opposes “activist judges.” He also expressed to the rallygoers the importance of the election, saying it would “affect the entire destiny of humanity.”
