Trump predicts ‘lowlife’ Jasmine Crockett will never lead Democratic Party

.

President Donald Trump expressed great doubt over Rep. Jasmine Crockett’s (D-TX) political future, suggesting there is “something wrong with her” as the Democratic Party searches for a new leader.

The president’s comment comes after Crockett has gone viral for her numerous remarks against his allies, including calling for Elon Musk to be taken down on her birthday and for Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) to be “knocked over the head.”  Her most recent remark, dubbing wheelchair-bound Gov. Greg Abbott (R-TX) “Governor Hot Wheels,” is the latest to catch the attention of social media. While Crockett has claimed she was referring to the governor’s busing of migrants, Trump called this statement a lie from “a lowlife” lawmaker.

“She’s a very low IQ person and a lowlife, and I don’t imagine the Democrats are going to have a person like that running their party,” Trump said on The VINCE podcast. “If they do, then they’ll never win an election again. It would be very hard; I can’t imagine she’s going to last long.”

Trump added that he was unfamiliar with the lawmaker until the last couple of days, claiming he thought she was a comedian and “couldn’t believe” she was a member of Congress. He added that he thought she was “a little bit funny, but crude” and predicted the Democratic Party would “suffer” with her as part of their party.

The president also stated that the Democratic Party has no leader and cannot move forward “with little quips.” He added that while some Democratic lawmakers are “waiting to make their moves” amid the search for a new party leader, the Republican Party already has a “very strong” leader, referring to himself.

Abbott was largely unfazed by Crockett’s comment, saying Tuesday that her nickname further illustrates how the Democratic Party has “nothing to sell but hate” to voters. He added that the Republican Party will leave Democrats “in the dust” in future elections, as his state is focused on becoming “the vanguard” for the United States’s future ambitions.
