President Donald Trump and Republican Louisiana Gov. Jeff Landry will deliver remarks from the White House regarding a “major economic development” for the southern state.

Last week, Landry was in attendance at the White House when Trump signed an executive order that gutted the powers of the Department of Education.
Landry praised the move on social media, saying the order puts “education back into the hands of parents.”
