Truth Social parent company unveils Truth+ streaming ‘non-woke TV’ on Roku

.

Trump Media and Technology Group announced that its streaming platform, Truth+, is now on Roku, marking the latest expansion for the streaming platform.

The latest expansion by TMTG, the parent company of Truth Social, comes roughly seven months after Truth+ was unveiled. People who own Roku TVs can access the streaming platform using their Truth Social account, which President Donald Trump created after being banned from Twitter in 2021.

“We’re bringing Truth+ to Roku and planning to release more TV apps soon,” TMTG CEO and Chairman Devin Nunes said. “Truth+ is the singular option for non-woke TV and movies, as well as a great alternative to discredited legacy news channels that have squandered the trust of the American people.”

The streaming platform’s latest expansion comes after being made available on Apple and Android televisions and devices. Truth+ is anticipated to expand further, with TMTG listing LG and Samsung televisions as its next targeted platforms.

TRUMP EXPECTED TO SIGN EXECUTIVE ORDER CALLING TO DISMANTLE EDUCATION DEPARTMENT

Last year, Trump reiterated his confidence in Truth Social, vowing not to sell any of his shares in the company. While Trump has since returned to Twitter, now owned by Elon Musk and called X, most of his thoughts are still posted to his own social media platform and are later reposted by members of the Trump administration on X.

On Thursday, Trump became the first president to address a cryptocurrency conference, stressing the need to make the United States a “bitcoin superpower.” The president also announced that he would sign an order to create “the brand-new strategic Bitcoin reserve and the U.S. digital asset stockpile.”
