President Donald Trump is set to host Irish Taoiseach Micheal Martin for a meeting ahead of St. Patrick’s Day.
The meeting is scheduled for 10:50 a.m. and will include a luncheon on Capitol Hill and a reception at the White House.
SPAIN, NORWAY, AND IRELAND RECOGNIZE PALESTINIAN STATE
While their meeting is intended to be in celebration of the Irish holiday, the leaders will likely discuss their differing views on the importance of U.S.-backed security for Ukraine and Trump’s idea to turn the Gaza Strip into the “Riviera of the Middle East.”
