The White House announced that President-elect Donald Trump will be meeting with President Joe Biden at the White House on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m.
Earlier this week, Biden called Trump to congratulate him on his election victory. He had promised he would work to ensure a smooth transition of power between the current and future administrations.
Biden had also shared that he planned to attend Trump’s presidential inauguration.

When Biden won in 2020, Trump refused to concede the election and the two never met at the White House prior to Biden taking office.
The 2024 presidential election was called for Trump on Wednesday morning and he’s secured 301 electoral votes as of Saturday morning, when Nevada was also called for him. He’s on track to win all seven swing states, with Arizona being the final one left to be called by the Associated Press. Trump is currently leading Harris 53.7% to 46.3% in the state.
