Former President Donald Trump took a moment to take a jab at Vice President Kamala Harris after he voted in Florida.
Trump and Harris supporters nationwide are backing their candidates at the voting booths on Election Day.
“Regrets? You always have regrets; I can’t think of any,” Trump said in response to a question. “To use her expression, I can’t think of any. Look, I ran a great campaign and I think it was maybe the best of the three.”
Trump could be referencing Harris’s response to a question on an October appearance on The View asking if she would’ve done anything differently from President Joe Biden over the last four years. She said, “There is not a thing that comes to mind.”
She noted that her and Biden are “obviously two different people” even though they ran on the same ticket in 2020. Harris has battled with distancing herself from Biden, who dropped out of the presidential race and endorsed Harris in July.
Trump continued, referencing his challenge of the 2020 election results.
“We did great in the first one, we did much better in the second one but something happened, and I would say this is the best campaign we ran,” he said.
Trump declined to say whether he voted for Florida’s Amendment 4, which would restrict abortion in the state. “We did a great job, and then we brought it back to the states, as you know, I believe in exceptions as well,” he said.
Trump added that the “Republican lines are very long” and “we’re doing very well.” He also noted that he’s confident.
In response to a question about whether he would concede the election, Trump said if he loses a “fair election” that “he’d be the first one to acknowledge it.” Trump said it’s been fair so far but that there’s been “a lot of court cases.” He used the latter statement to push for paper ballots instead of electronic ones.

The public likely won’t know if Harris or Trump will be the next president until after Election Day is over, at least if polling is to be believed. In polling, several swing states were deadlocked and could be anyone’s win in the election.
Trump will spend Election Day in Florida while Harris will be at her alma mater, Howard University, in Washington, D.C.
