Joe Rogan endorses Trump after Musk interview

Podcast host Joe Rogan endorsed former President Donald Trump on Monday evening just hours before millions of voters cast their ballots on Election Day

Rogan, who hosts the most popular podcast on Spotify, made the announcement as he released his latest episode of the Joe Rogan Experience with SpaceX founder Elon Musk.

“If it wasn’t for him we’d be f***ed,” Rogan said as he reflected on his interview with Musk. “He makes what I think is the most compelling case for Trump you’ll hear, and I agree with him every step of the way.”

“For the record, yes, that’s an endorsement of Trump,” the podcast host concluded.

During the interview, which stretched over 2 1/2 hours, Musk told Rogan, “If Trump doesn’t win, this is the last election.”

“I think you’re right. Yeah, I think you’re right. I think people, and a lot of people, are waking up and realize that — that have been lifelong Democrats, guys like Bill Ackman … Tulsi Gabbard, switched over to the Republicans,” Rogan replied. “Like, there’s a lot of people who their whole life, they’ve been left wing, and they realize, like, I can’t do this anymore.”

Trump reacted to the news in real-time at an election eve Pennsylvania rally.

“It just came over the wires that Joe Rogan just endorsed me. Thank you, Joe. That’s so nice, and he doesn’t do that. He doesn’t do that, and he tends to be a little bit more liberal than some of the people in this room,” the former president told the crowd in Pittsburgh. “And he’s not a person that does endorsements, but he did an endorsement, so I just want to thank Joe Rogan, it’s fantastic.”

Trump appeared on Rogan’s show at the end of October, with the taping of the episode stretching into a recording session that made the former president hours late to a Michigan rally.

“Now, I had a lot of fun, and he was amazing. It was a three-hour interview. In fact, I was two hours late for a rally that we had,” Trump remembered at his Pittsburgh rally. “I had to explain that a little bit, and it was cold out that night. We flew and I — but we had to make it. We were two more than two hours late, and they understood. I said, you know, I just was interviewed by a very interesting guy, and he just kept going on. They called it a long form, and it could have gone a lot longer, but he was great.”
