Vice President Kamala Harris is holding a campaign event with former Republican Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney in Michigan as the race for the White House enters the final stretch.
The event, moderated by Maria Shriver, is expected to begin at 4:10 p.m. EDT from Birmingham, Michigan.

Harris’s campaign has used Cheney, a chief critic of former President Donald Trump, in campaign events in an attempt to appeal to Republicans as the campaign heats up.
In Michigan, Trump is leading Harris in the RealClearPolitics polling average, 48.8%-47.6%. The state has been rated as a “toss-up” by the Cook Political Report.
