Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH), Republican vice presidential candidate, will deliver remarks at an event in Michigan on Wednesday around 1:30 p.m.

The remarks come a day after Vance debated Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN), Democratic vice presidential candidate, in the first and likely only vice presidential debate. A New York Times columnist called Vance’s debate performance “dominant.”
Michigan is a key swing state in the 2024 presidential election. Vice President Kamala Harris currently leads former President Donald Trump 48.7% to 47.4%, according to RealClearPolitics‘s polling average.
