Majority of suburban women in swing states say Harris lacks ‘viable solutions’ for economy: Poll

.

EXCLUSIVE — A majority of suburban women are expressing concerns about Vice President Kamala Harris’s ability to handle the economy, which is becoming one of the top voter concerns of the 2024 election

About 72% of suburban women say the economy is a top priority for them heading into the election, according to a survey conducted by the Place America First super PAC that was first obtained by the Washington Examiner. Of those, 70% say Harris lacks “viable solutions” for the economy compared to former President Donald Trump

The survey also shows Trump gaining ground with other key voting demographics, including English-speaking Hispanics and veterans. About 65% of the Hispanic voters surveyed said they were more inclined to vote for Trump, while 67% of veterans say the former president would be able to address veteran matters better than Harris.

The poll was conducted shortly after the first debate between Trump and Harris, surveying voters on their impressions of the candidates after the candidates’ first matchup. The calls were made to 50,000 randomly selected voters in the key swing states of Arizona, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.

Artificial intelligence-powered agents made the calls through an initiative launched earlier this summer to utilize “cutting-edge AI models designed to mobilize voters and dominate the electoral battleground in key swing states.”

The initiative was launched by the super PAC, which was created to support Trump’s campaign.

The data came as other polls showed a slight bump for Harris following the debate but left both candidates neck and neck in battleground states. The most recent polls from the New York Times and Siena College show Trump leading in states such as Arizona, Georgia, and North Carolina, with those states swinging in his favor after the debate.

Meanwhile, that poll shows Harris enjoying a lead in Pennsylvania, which is considered one of the most important states in the November election.
