The Secret Service said in a statement Monday that the agency is aware of a post from the New Hampshire Libertarian Party that appeared to encourage violence against Vice President Kamala Harris.

The state partyās X account called Oliver āan infiltrating leftist snake who doesnāt understand the basic principles of libertarianismā in response.
Oliver won the Libertarian Party nomination in May after a lengthy nominating process that required several rounds of voting, beating out a candidate favored by the Mises Caucus, a more hard-line faction of the third party.
New Hampshire Republican Party Chairman Chris Ager also condemned the New Hampshire Libertarian Partyās original post, saying in a statement Monday that ācomments by the Libertarian Party of NH suggesting the assassination of political figures, including VP Harris, are condemned in the strongest possible terms.ā
He continued, āThere is no room for this type of dialogue. PERIOD.ā
