Stephen Miller, onetime adviser to Donald Trump, said the migrant crisis would end within 24 hours if President Joe Biden reinstated the former president’s immigration policies.

The immigration hawk appeared on Fox News on Thursday to denounce Biden’s handling of the border, which is expecting a rush of immigrants following the expiration of Title 42 at midnight. Miller claimed the crisis is a deliberate move by the Biden administration and that it could be solved quickly if the president reinstated immigration policies adopted during the previous administration.

“Oh, I’m sure they have meetings, Kayleigh, many of them,” Miller, widely regarded as a white nationalist, told Fox News host Kayleigh McEnany, referring to Biden’s Cabinet.

“The purpose is to figure out how they can demolish our border and bring as many illegal immigrants into this country as humanly possible. Under President Trump, we had a flawless system: You were either detained, deported; you were sent to a safe third nation; or you returned to Mexico.”

He decried Biden’s approach to immigration, particularly the policy known as catch and release, and advocated a return to Trump’s policies.

“He could reinstate every single Trump policy in 24 hours, and the border crisis would end as quickly as that,” Miller proclaimed.

“Joe Biden, as I said before, this is his endgame,” he continued. “This is what they have been aiming at all along — crash the system, flood our cities, bring in millions upon millions of illegal immigrants, break the morale of [U.S. Customs and Border Protection], break the morale of [U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement], break the morale of the country, break the morale of Congress, and say all we can do now is give amnesty and citizenship to millions of people we’ve let in.”

According to the Southern Poverty Law Center, “Miller implements policies which demonize immigrants, regardless of their immigration status, in an apparent effort to halt all forms of immigration to the United States.”
