E. Jean Carroll is contemplating filing another defamation suit against former President Donald Trump after he made comments about his sexual abuse liability at a CNN town hall.

Trump was ruled liable for sexual abuse and defamation against Carroll by a New York grand jury on Tuesday. In a town hall with CNN on Wednesday, Trump repeated his denials of Carroll’s story, calling it “made up” and claiming he had never met the former Elle columnist.

Carroll took issue with Trump’s comments and told the New York Times that she is considering filing another defamation lawsuit in response.

“It’s just stupid, it’s just disgusting, vile, foul, it wounds people,” she said. She then added that she had been “insulted by better people.”

She said that she was handed a transcript of the event by her lawyer, Roberta Kaplan, but Carroll said she was only able to read the first paragraph.

“I am upset on the behalf of young men in America,” Carroll continued. “They cannot listen to this balderdash and this old-timey view of women, which is a cave-man view.”

Kaplan backed up her client’s statement, saying that everything was on the table and that a final decision would be made within roughly the next day.

“Everything’s on the table, obviously, and we have to give serious consideration to it,” Kaplan told the outlet. “We have to weigh the various pros and cons and we’ll come to a decision in the next day or so, probably.”

The announcement comes soon after Trump filed an appeal to his conviction.

On Wednesday, the former president painted the case as a politically-motivated attack against him.

“What’s happening is they are doing this for election interference,” Trump said of the trial’s verdict. “This woman, I don’t know her, I never met her, I have no idea who she is.”

“This is a fake story, a made-up story,” he continued, adding that it “wouldn’t have made a difference” if he had testified at the trial.

The 2024 candidate also recounted Carroll’s accusations against him in a mocking tone, dismissing them as made by a “wack job.”

“What kind of a woman meet somebody and brings them up and within minutes you’re playing hanky-panky in a dressing room, I don’t know if she was married then or not,” Trump said, drawing laughter from the crowd. He then referenced her former husband, saying, “John Johnson, I feel sorry for you.”
