Megyn Kelly slammed the politics of gun control advocates, suggesting their policies are inept.
“I am sick, sick, sick of opening up Twitter or watching the news to learn there’s been yet another mass shooting in America — sick of it. We’ve been over and over and over this. I’ve been as open-minded as anyone in this country to a possible change in laws that might diminish the chances of more of these happening,” Kelly said during The Megyn Kelly Show on SiriusXM on Monday. “Nothing has worked to stop these shootings, and nothing proposed by these gun control advocates will work.”

STEVE SCALISE SAYS GUN CONTROL ‘WOULDN’T SOLVE THE PROBLEM’ IN WAKE OF TEXAS SHOOTING
Kelly’s comments follow Saturday’s mass shooting at Allen Premium Outlets in Allen, Texas, which left eight victims dead and several in the hospital.
“I’m sorry, but the jury’s in: We’re not getting guns out of America, and the changes we always default to debating in the wake of these things will not stop mass shootings. It’s time to focus on other remedies,” Kelly continued.
“It’s time to shame the gun control zealots for stopping any other reasonable debates around these shootings,” she said.

Kelly suggested better mental health services, including facilities that “provide humane conditions” and protect one’s “civil liberties with the appropriate reviews.”
Saturday’s mass shooting is one of over 200 mass shootings that have occurred in the United States since the start of 2023, according to the Gun Violence Archive. Other high-profile shootings have occurred in Knoxville and Nashville, Tennessee; Atlanta, Georgia; and Alabama.
