FBI Director Christopher Wray will give his testimony before the Subcommittee on Commerce, Justice, Science, and Related Agencies regarding the budget for fiscal 2024.

FBI ORDERED TO RELEASE DOCUMENTS ABOUT BUREAU’S RESPONSE TO NSBA LETTER

The agency is requesting $11.4 billion to carry out the FBI’s duties. $11.3 million will be allocated for salaries and expenses to support 37,312 positions, according to a statement from Wray.

With the funds, the FBI plans to bolster and expand programs, including their Body-Worn Camera Policy and Implementation Program enacted in 2022.

The hearing will begin at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday.
