Instagram star and model Bri Teresi has called it quits with the high-end lingerie company Honey Birdette after the company began promoting biological males in female lingerie.

Teresi’s criticism came after the company posted photos of Jake DuPree, a biological male wearing a ruby three-piece set of bra, panties, and matching stockings.

“Sad to see you guys jumping on the woke bandwagon! Once again, another thing taken over by men. Know your audience!” she said in the comments section of the Instagram post.

The lingerie company edited its Instagram post of the male model and shared an update.

“Honey Birdette fosters an inclusive and diverse environment, and we will continue to use our voice to empower and support the LGBTQ+ community, women, and anyone who wants to feel fabulous in our lingerie. While thoughtful and constructive discussions are important to push culture forward, hate speech and bullying will not be tolerated on our channels. Comments of this negative nature will be deleted. @jakedupree, you are so talented and have our full support!” they wrote on the social media platform.

Teresi later confirmed that she had dropped modeling for this company.

“Yes it’s true. I will no longer be working with the brand,” the golf influencer said.
