The Department of Justice is holding a press conference to announce charges and arrests related to a “significant national security matter” Monday.

Principal Deputy Assistant Attorney General for National Security David Newman will be joined in the briefing by U.S. Attorney Breon Peace and Assistant Director in Charge Michael Driscoll of the FBI’s New York field office, as well as David Sundberg of the FBI in Washington.

The press conference follows last week’s arrest of Massachusetts Air National Guardsman Jack Teixeira, 21, who leaked highly classified documents, many relating to the war in Ukraine, in December.
