New York Attorney General Letitia James is making a “national announcement” on Wednesday at a press briefing.
James will be joined by attorneys general from California, the District of Columbia, Illinois, and Massachusetts.
LEGAL ABORTIONS FELL 6% IN SIX MONTHS AFTER SUPREME COURT OVERTURNED ROE
The announcement will come two days after James led a coalition to challenge a ruling from a Texas judge that would halt the Food and Drug Administration’s approval of mifepristone, an abortion drug, which has been in place for almost two decades.
California, the District of Columbia, Illinois, and Massachusetts are among the jurisdictions that signed on to the coalition, which is made up of 22 states and the district.
