The campaign collected roughly $2 million on Tuesday alone as Trump was arraigned in a New York courtroom, per figures from his staffers.
DONALD TRUMP ARREST: JOHN BOLTON SAYS INDICTMENT IS ‘EVEN WEAKER THAN I FEARED’
“You are why I could NEVER give up our mission to save America — no matter how nasty and vicious the attacks ever got,” Trump said in a fundraising email. “Since news of the indictment first broke, I’ve been informed that our campaign has raised over $10,000,000.”
As photos of a somber and stone-faced Trump appearing in a Manhattan courtroom swirled on social media, the Trump campaign sold T-shirts with faux mugshot photos of him. Trump himself has also blasted out fundraising pleas to his followers outraged over the criminal case against him.
He has pleaded “not guilty” to 34 counts in a purported “catch and kill” scheme to suppress negative stories against him during the 2016 election cycle.

There were at least three people allegedly given hush-money payments: a Trump Tower doorman, former porn star Stormy Daniels, and ex-Playboy model Karen McDougal. The trio had accused Trump of committing affairs, with the doorman alleging Trump had a child out of wedlock with his housekeeper.
Trump has denied wrongdoing and is due back in court for another hearing in December. He is the front-runner in the 2024 GOP presidential primary.
