Scott’s barnstorming of early primary states comes as the Senate is on a two-week recess. Earlier this year, Scott traveled to Iowa and South Carolina to test the political waters. He has also met with donors on several occasions.
To cap off the week, Scott will attend a “Faith in America Summit” in South Carolina to deliver his update to donors. Some in his orbit have hinted that they believe he will unveil his 2024 plans soon.
Should he enter the fray, Scott will join four other candidates including fellow South Carolinian Nikki Haley, former President Donald Trump, entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, and former Gov. Asa Hutchinson (R-AR).
