Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) plans to return to the Senate next month, according to a report.

Two people familiar with the matter told Politico that Fetterman plans to return the week of April 17. He checked into Walter Reed National Military Medical Center for treatment for depression on Feb. 15, meaning he will have been there for a little over two months. The newest report puts his return at a later time than previous reports, which indicated that he could return to the Senate by the end of March.

NEW DETAILS REVEALED ON WHEN JOHN FETTERMAN WILL BE RELEASED FROM HOSPITAL

Fetterman suffered a stroke during his election campaign in 2022, and that became a lead point of contention for his opponents. Nevertheless, he went on to beat Dr. Mehmet Oz in November. The Senate made special accommodations to help the Pennsylvania Democrat better operate while in the Senate, including live closed captioning tools.
