The campaign arm for House Democrats announced it hauled $12.3 million worth of donations for February, boosting its war chest to $21.3 million.

Last month’s showing broke a fundraising record for “all previous February off-year totals by over $1 million,” according to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) helped raise over $9.3 million, per Punchbowl News.

“With two months of inaction and chaos under their belts, voters can already see that House Republicans are incapable of governing and tackling the actual issues families face — a clear contrast to House Democrats,” DCCC Chair Suzan DelBene said in a statement.

February’s total comes after the DCCC crowed about surpassing its GOP counterpart, the National Republican Congressional Committee, by roughly $3.5 million in January, having raised over $8 million to the NRCC’s $4.5 million, according to the DCCC.

The NRCC’s fundraising totals for February are not yet publicly available, but the group raised $11.7 million in February of last year during an election season.

“Thanks to the steady leadership of Hakeem Jeffries and our entire Democratic caucus, the DCCC has broken yet another fundraising record, and voters are showing they are ready to restore a House Democratic majority in 2024,” DelBene added.
