A single video taken on the night of the murders of Alex Murdaugh’s wife and son played a central role in his guilty verdict.

The video, taken at the kennels of the family’s hunting lodge the night of June 7, 2021, contradicted Murdaugh’s alibi claiming that he was never at the kennels that night. In the video, the voices of Paul, 22, and Maggie, 52, can be heard in the background.
