A Wisconsin woman accused of dismembering a murder victim attacked her attorney in court Tuesday moments after the judge delayed her trial.
Taylor Schabusiness, 25, attacked her lawyer, identified as Quinn Jolly, after Jolly requested that Brown County Circuit Court Judge Thomas Walsh delay Schabusiness’s trial by two weeks to allow for an expert to review her competency, according to a report.

Walsh agreed to delay the March 6 trial date, and, moments later, Schabusiness lunged at Jolly.
A deputy stopped Schabusiness, brought her to the floor, and the courtroom was cleared, the report noted.
Schabusiness is facing charges of first-degree intentional homicide, mutilating a corpse, and third-degree sexual assault charges related to the February 2022 murder of 25-year-old Shad Thyrion.
Prosecutors allege Schabusiness strangled Thyrion before sexually abusing him and dismembering his corpse.
After cutting him up, Schabusiness scattered her victim’s body parts around a Green Bay residence and vehicle, prosecutors said.
Schabusiness pleaded not guilty by reason of mental disease or defect, and she is held on $2 million cash bond, according to the report.
Following her assault on Jolly, Walsh delayed her competency hearing to March 6 and offered a trial date for May 15.
