Candace Cameron Bure wins big at Movieguide Awards, touts ‘the name of Jesus on cable television’

Candace Cameron Bure celebrated her 2023 Movieguide Awards wins, thanking GAC Media for being “unashamed to share scripture and the name of Jesus on cable television.”

Bure, who left the Hallmark Channel and joined GAC Media last year with the goal of developing “heartwarming family and faith-filled programming,” touted her movie A Christmas… Present grabbing the best family television award.

“Our first movie out of the gate, A Christmas… Present and we won Best Family Television from @MovieGuide Awards,” Bure said, sharing her excitement on Instagram.

The actress and executive producer thanked GAC Media President Bill Abbott for standing by wholesome and faith-filled media.

“Massive thank you to [Abbott] and [Great American Family] for being unashamed to share scripture and the name of Jesus on cable television and for your dedication to faith and family entertainment,” Bure added.

Bure also won the Grace Award for “most inspired performance” in A Christmas… Present.

A full release of the winners of the Movieguide Awards will be announced when the awards ceremony airs on UPtv on Feb. 26.
