A pair of the iconic underwear worn by Actor Bryan Cranston in the hit AMC show Breaking Bad is expected to auction for up to $5,000.

Propstore, a leading entertainment auctioning specialist, has listed the undergarments on its website. The expected buying price is $2,500-$5,000, with a starting price of $1,250.

However, the pair listed is not the pair that Cranston’s character, Walter White, wore in the famous scene from the pilot episode or at any other point in the series. Rather, the underwear is one of the pairs on display in White’s closet throughout the series. The pair worn by White in the pilot already sold in 2013 for nearly $10,000.

BEST OF: WHY BREAKING BAD IS THE BEST SHOW OF THE DECADE

“Walter White’s underwear from Vince Gilligan’s crime thriller series Breaking Bad. White wore his iconic tighty-whities throughout the series, starting when he first began cooking crystal meth with Jesse Pinkman (as played by Aaron Paul) in the pilot episode. Matching underwear also appeared in his closet throughout the series,” a description on the website reads.

“This is a set decoration ‘closet’ pair of White’s underwear. The cotton and polyester briefs (size 40 inches) features a white elastic waistband with blue and goldenrod details, though the elasticity is largely lost,” it added.

The underwear was displayed prominently in the pilot episode of the show when White strips down to his underwear to avoid getting the scent of crystal meth on his clothes. The look went on to become emblematic of the show, appearing on posters and being cosplayed by fans.

The underwear isn’t the only notable piece of memorabilia from the show being sold at auction by Propstore. White’s respirator and goggles are being put up for auction at the same expected price as the underwear. White’s copy of Walt Whitman’s Leaves of Grass, which becomes a central plot point in the final season, is also being put up for auction with the same expected price.
