The Allegretti and Hardman families are celebrating early on the day of the Super Bowl.

Christina Allegretti, wife of Kansas City Chiefs offensive lineman Nick Allegretti, gave birth to twins ahead of the Chiefs’ battle against the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LVII.

Nick and his parents kept in touch with his wife via FaceTime early Sunday morning from a hotel lobby.

According to NFL Network Insider’s Tom Pelissero, Allegretti’s baby girl twins were delivered at 3:30 a.m. in Chicago.

Allegretti’s teammate and Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman announced his own baby news as he excitedly tweeted on Sunday, “OMG HER WATER BROKE.”

Hardman and his girlfriend, Chariah Gordon, had announced the pregnancy last year in October.

There may be a trifecta of Super Bowl players having babies on Sunday if Kylie Kelce, wife of Philadelphia Eagles Center Jason Kelce, also gives birth. At 38 weeks pregnant, she is expecting to give birth imminently. Kelce brought her OB-GYN to the Super Bowl in preparation.
