WATCH: Sunny Hostin says MTG ‘should apologize’ for calling Biden a liar

The View’s Sunny Hostin was not happy with Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s (R-GA) outburst at Tuesday’s State of the Union, claiming the Georgia congresswoman should apologize.
“I think if Marjorie Taylor Greene yells ‘liar’ to the president of the United States, she should apologize for it. I wonder if Kevin McCarthy has the cajones to force her,” Hostin said.

She recalled former President Barack Obama’s 2009 State of the Union address when Rep. Joe Wilson (R-SC) infamously yelled, “You lie!”

“The lack of decorum that was shown had never been shown before. They made him apologize to the White House, and he did so,” she said.
Whoopi Goldberg bemoaned adults “indulging in really what is despicable behavior.”
“You don’t have to like what he says,” she claimed. “You owe him the respect. He is the president.”

“For God’s sake, we had to listen to you-know-who and nobody yelled,” she added.
Goldberg then called on the Republicans to “get your party in order.”

Greene’s interruption came during President Joe Biden’s remarks on Republicans, who he said are trying to cut Social Security and Medicare.
“Instead of making the wealthy pay their fair share, some Republicans want Medicare and Social Security to sunset every five years,” Biden said, to some commotion from Republicans.
