“Obviously it’ll be on a huge stage in the Super Bowl that he’s given me, and I want to make sure that I am glorifying him as I do it,” Mahomes added.

This was not the first time this season Mahomes has referenced his Christian faith in an interview. When his team clinched the AFC championship for the third time in January, Mahomes told a reporter he was grateful to God for making him healthy enough to secure the victory over the Cincinnati Bengals.
