New England Patriots owner Bob Kraft said Thursday that his team is prepared to do “everything in our power” to bring Tom Brady home and retire him as a Patriot with the help of a one-day contract.

“Not only do I want it,” Kraft told the CNN This Morning crew when asked if he wanted Brady back. “Our fans are clamoring for it.”

Kraft then opened up about the impact the “GOAT” left during and after his time with New England.

“I’d do it tomorrow,” Kraft said. “To us, he is, always has been, and always will be a Patriot.”

Brady, who said he retired from the NFL for a second time and “for good” on Wednesday, left the Patriots in 2020 for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after more than 20 years with New England.

During that time, Brady won six Super Bowls, nine AFC Conference championships, 17 division titles, including 11 consecutively from 2009 to 2019, and was named the NFL’s most valuable player three times.

Brady also holds roughly 16 franchise records with the New England Patriots.

“We will be bringing him back after … I don’t like to make a commitment for him, but we will do everything in our power to bring him back, have him sign off as a Patriot, and find ways to honor him for many years to come, because he did so much to bring life and good cheer to our community,” Kraft said.
