Transgender YouTube star and influencer Nikita Dragun was placed into a men’s jail unit after the content creator walked around a hotel pool naked and threw objects at officials Monday, authorities said.

Dragun, whose real name is Nikita Nguyen, is a biological male who identifies as female and was held in the men’s unit of Miami’s Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, according to a report.

Prior to the arrest, Dragun is reported to have disturbed the staff and guests of The Goodtime Hotel.

The content creator began by walking around the pool naked and throwing water at staff when they approached.

Eventually, police were called, and Dragun threw a water bottle at the responding officer and security officer, hitting them, the report noted.

The social media star faces charges of misdemeanor disorderly conduct and felony battery of a law enforcement officer, according to the report.

A representative for Dragun heavily criticized the holding of the transgender influencer in a men’s prison unit.

“The situation with Nikita, who is legally female, being placed in a men’s unit of a Florida jail is extremely disturbing and dangerous,” Jack Ketsoyan said.

“This decision made by the Miami-Dade County corrections department directly violates their protocol, which mandates that transgender inmates are classified and housed based on safety needs and gender identity. Nikita has been released and is now safe.”

Dragun was held in custody for at least one day and was not required to pay bail, the report noted.
