Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) blasted the FBI for investigating parents who were vocal at local school board meetings while ignoring other matters more relevant to the GOP.

Jordan appeared on NBC’s Meet the Press where host Chuck Todd confronted the representative about the legitimacy of the investigation into parents over the death threats that school board members received.

“One of the people they went to investigate was a mom and they said because she is in the group ‘Moms for Liberty’ and because they have firearms at her house they go and investigate her. You get investigated in America for that? They show up at your house?” Jordan asked. “You don’t think that has a chilling impact on other parents?”

“The chilling impact on First Amendment free speech is what we care about. This committee is about protecting the Constitution, in particular the First Amendment,” Jordan added.

The congressman also denounced the FBI’s involvement in pressuring Twitter to suppress article links regarding Hunter Biden and interfering in elections by conducting a raid on former President Donald Trump’s home.
