WATCH: MTG to introduce legislation labeling Antifa as ‘domestic terrorists’

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) announced Monday that she intends to introduce legislation declaring Antifa “domestic terrorists.”
“America is just sick and tired of Antifa,” Greene told Fox News host Tucker Carlson. “Look at what they’ve done over years now. Just from 2020, they’re responsible for nearly $2 billion in damage and many people dead, but the war is against the police and the reason why is because Antifa is the ground troops of the Democrat Party.”

Greene’s remarks come days after Antifa caused chaos in Atlanta Saturday, smashing windows and lighting a police car on fire.
The group and its Black Bloc members were among protesters standing in opposition to the construction of the Atlanta Police Departments new training center, and at least six individuals dressed in Black Bloc attire were taken into custody.
“Not only are they the ground troops,” Greene continued. “They breed them, the raise them, and then they bail them out of jail when they get arrested. But, they never get prosecuted, and that’s because, well, we know they truth.”
“It’s the Democrats in control. It’s the establishment, and it’s the un-elected bureaucrats that make no apologies for their support of Antifa.”
Enough is enough, according to the Georgia congresswoman.
“I’m going to introduce legislation to declare Antifa domestic terrorists,” she said. “They need to be taken apart. We need to investigate exactly who they are, who funds them, and then we need to make sure that whenever they come out, and erupt in violence, attacking police officers and attacking businesses in cities like my city, Atlanta in Georgia, we need to make sure they are arrested and charged with domestic terrorism charges.”
“They are not the anti-facists,” according to Greene. “They are the fascists, and they always show up and they defend Democrat causes.”
Antifa, which many Democrat lawmakers refuse to recognize as an organized group, defends the LGBT indoctrination of America’s youth and attack those opposed to the coronavirus vaccine, she said.

“Environmentalists trying to stop a police training center?” Greene said. “We’re not buying it.”
