The 10 deceased victims have been identified by the coroner’s office, but only two names have been released, as the families of the unnamed victims have not been notified yet. Here are the victims whose names have been released.

The Los Angeles County coroner’s office identified Nhan as one of the victims on Monday. Nhan’s family said they will remember her as a “loving aunt, sister, daughter, and friend” in a statement posted to Twitter.
“She spent so many years going to the dance studio in Monterey Park on weekends. It’s what she loved to do. But unfairly, Saturday was her last dance,” the statement said. “We are starting the Lunar New Year broken. We never imagined her life would end so suddenly.”
Lilan Li, female, 63
The Los Angeles County coroner’s office also confirmed Li was one of the victims in an email to the Washington Examiner.
The other eight victims have been identified as one female in her 50s, two females in their 60s, two males in their 60s, and three males in their 70s.
The suspected shooter, Huu Can Tran, 72, reportedly attempted to cause harm at a second dance studio but was disarmed before he could attack by the operator of the dance hall, per the New York Times. The gunman then fled and was at large for several hours before being found dead in a white van, which had been surrounded by a SWAT team for hours.
