Hunter Biden ‘quarantined’ near classified document location on election night: Book

First son Hunter Biden and others were holed up at his father’s residence near where classified documents were discovered back on election night in 2020, according to his memoir.
The younger Biden recounted that he, his wife Melissa Cohen, his children, and his half-sister Ashley Biden, along with her husband, Howard Krein, were “quarantined” in his father’s Wilmington, Delaware, residence on Nov. 3, 2020, breathlessly awaiting the election results.

“You would have loved the scene on election night, too, even though the night would’ve driven you nuts, not least because the vote counting dragged on for days,” Hunter Biden wrote, according to Fox News.
“More than waiting together, we were also quarantined together. There was no escaping one another.”
Biden published his book, Beautiful Things: A Memoir, in 2021.
Additional evidence has indicated that Hunter Biden had other encounters at his father’s residence. For example, he was spotted traveling with President Joe Biden from the White House to Delaware on Dec. 16, 2020. Notably, that trip came four days before the president’s lawyers alerted the Justice Department to the discovery of additional documents on Dec. 20.
Some journalists have claimed that Hunter Biden blacked out near where the documents were found, but there has been no evidence so far that he ever accessed the classified files later found in Joe Biden’s Wilmington garage close to his prized 1967 Corvette Stingray. The documents stemmed from Biden’s vice presidential days in about 2013 to 2016.
There have been at least five known instances of Hunter Biden traveling to Wilmington, Delaware, since his father took office, according to Fox News. The younger Biden is facing an investigation from federal law enforcement for possible tax fraud and allegedly lying on a federal form when purchasing a firearm. Charges against him could be imminent.
A bombshell report last week revealed that one of Joe Biden’s lawyers discovered an envelope with roughly 10 files bearing classification markings at the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement, a foreign policy-focused think tank in Washington, on Nov. 2, 2022. The DOJ was quickly informed and opened an investigation into the matter.

Since then, Joe Biden’s associates conducted a sweep of the president’s residences and uncovered a second batch of classified files in the president’s Wilmington, Delaware, garage. Last week, his team flagged an additional batch of files in Wilmington as well.
Joe Biden has insisted that he is “cooperating fully” with federal investigators. Attorney General Merrick Garland announced the appointment of U.S. Attorney Robert Hur as special counsel to investigate the matter. Vice presidents are expected to turn over classified material and other key records at the end of presidential administrations.
