Rep. Greg Steube hospitalized after falling from roof

Rep. Greg Steube (R-FL) was hospitalized after falling from his roof while carrying out routine home maintenance.
The Florida representative fell 25 feet to the ground, Florida Politics reported. He was found by a Republican staffer in the neighborhood doing part-time delivery work.

“Congressman Steube was involved in an accident on his property late this afternoon and has sustained several injuries. We will provide additional updates when possible. Please pray for the Congressman and his family,” a statement on his Twitter account read.

Republican congressmen, including fellow Floridian Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL), flocked to wish him a speedy recovery.
“Please join Ann and me in wishing Greg a speedy recovery. We’re keeping him and the Steube family in our prayers,” Scott wrote on Twitter.
