Former Rep. Adam Kinzinger is selling limited edition signed copies of the Jan. 6 committee’s final report for $100 via his political action committee’s website.

“This hard-bound copy of the historical record is offered as a limited edition and signed by Congressman Adam Kinzinger, who served on the committee. All proceeds will benefit charitable organizations working to uphold and defend democracy in America,” a description of the book says on the website for Kinzinger’s Country First PAC.

GEORGE SANTOS AND ADAM KINZINGER CLASH OVER REPUBLICAN’S CONTROVERSIES: ‘GO ON CNN AND CRY’

Kinzinger was an outspoken critic of former President Donald Trump and one of two Republicans alongside former Rep. Liz Cheney who sat on the Jan. 6 committee. He opted not to vie for reelection during the midterm cycle amid a redistricting upheaval and has created the Country First PAC to stay engaged in politics.

The Jan. 6 committee released its final report on Dec. 22, 2022, laying out its findings from its nearly 18 monthslong investigation into the Jan. 6 riot and coinciding efforts to overturn the 2020 election.

“On January 6, 2021, the United States came perilously close to losing its democracy. A mob instigated by the president of the United States violently attacked the Capitol Building in Washington, D.C., seeking to disrupt the certification of the electors in the presidential election and prevent the peaceful transfer of power for the first time in American history,” a description for the limited edition book reads.

Following his departure from Congress, Kinzinger was hired by CNN to serve as a senior political commentator. He has also remained engaged in political skirmishes, recently chiding Rep. George Santos (R-NY) over his resume fabrication scandal.

Kinzinger’s PAC is also selling a slew of merchandise such as sweaters, hats, cups, crop tops, and more to promote “country first.” He deployed the term frequently when he began bucking the Republican Party for its adulation of Trump.

In the aftermath of the storming of the Capitol on Jan. 6, Kinzinger became one of 10 House Republicans who voted to impeach Trump for his actions surrounding the riot. Trump was later acquitted in the Senate.

Alongside other members of the committee, Kinzinger favored criminal referrals against Trump for several alleged violations, such as obstruction of an official proceeding, conspiracy to defraud the federal government, inciting or assisting those in an insurrection, and conspiracy to make a false statement. Ultimately, the Justice Department will decide whether to bring forward the recommended charges.

Special counsel Jack Smith has been tapped to spearhead the DOJ’s inquiry revolving around Trump, including for matters pertaining to the Jan. 6 Capitol riot. Trump declared his 2024 presidential campaign last November.
